Goodbyes are hard to utter but as this chapter ends,
so too another one begins.
After a ton of prayer, my wife and I decided it would be best for our family if I deserted my entrepreneurial spirit and settle into, what I've been calling, "a big kid's job." One of my longest term clients approached me to join their team as their Director of Marketing. I gladly accepted the offer and have been helping grow their company in many new ways for the past four weeks now.
Carolina CoverTech understands my commitment to my existing clients and is allowing me the flexibility I need to continue serving you. The level of service you a use to related to your web hosting and email services will persist. However, I will need to throttle back on the time I can allot to actual web development and maintenance. I am happy to fulfill any needs in the interim if you need to locate someone else to manage the content and expansion of your website. If there are any outstanding items on our to do list, I will continue to work through those during my available time at night. Thank you for your patience and understanding as I get those cleared off of my to do list. Please let me know how I can help with the transition if you decided to hand the website off to someone that will be able to meet your demands in a more timely fashion.
If you would like to transition your email and hosting services over to another provider, I certainly understand, but I can ensure you that you will not see the response times or level of service decrease. Carolina CoverTech's website and email resides within the same hosting infrastructure, so if you're down, I'm down.
My @webitguys.com email address gets hammered with spam, so I won't be checking it as frequently. If you do not have my personal email address, please reach out via LinkedIn, and I'll be happy to share my updated contact information with you.
This is a wonderful opportunity and will allow me to put all of my talents to use focused on one company. It's going to be exciting! I will hopefully have a lot more time to devote to sharing my 16+ years of usability, marketing, and development experience via my personal blog and Twitter. Be sure to follow along!
